Since the last attempt, I’m at another starbucks and opened my laptop. Finally presented with a reasonable login window and request and I’m online (first try too).

Anyone else seeing the ease of use I expect? I’m happy with the experience right now… Maybe start feeling like this is an option - with all the hit and miss recently, I was afraid to try and visit a starbucks and expect to be able to do some work.

so here i am at a starbucks trying to get some work done. i’ve signed up for the “free” two hours with my starbucks card and had success (once) with this.

first, i sit down and open my macbook and find a slew of wireless hotspots (tmobile, attwifi to name a few). now do i connect to tmobile or attwifi?

if i connect to either i’m presented with a tmobile login page (that gives me an attwifi login option). i fill in the login and password and submit. 2 minutes pass and i’m redirected to an attwifi login page.

i enter my information in there, it fails and takes me to a tmobile failure page. WHAT! i’ve tried every password, login and username i can think of and i have yet to connect.

last time this worked i connected (surprise) and found out that i was connected only because my gmail started coming in… i never got a success page or connected. WHAT!
