Have you actually used it?

While a strikingly good looking app, I'm finding that the accuracy is hit or miss. Because I can't reposition the pin location (if it's incorrect-and I've found it to be up to a full block off) it's really not usable.

FWIW, I spoke with the developer today and he plans on adding the ability to relocate the pin in the future.

Scott,
If you want to use the iPhone for merchant services, then also checkout the "Merchant Anywhere" app. It already does what you are describing. Also, at the time of this writing, one can only enter the card numbers. No app can use a hardware accessory with the iPhone for swiping the card. Apparently Apple has not yet opened the bluetooth channel for cardswipe hardware.
Also, if you want to accept "cards" electronically, you can sign up for PC Merchant services. Quickbooks Merchant Services is probably the most popular one. Contact your bank, however. They can always recommend a merchant services provider that offers deals through their bank.
I look forward to reading more about the Square app...
Cheers,
Robert

This could be apple forcing AT&T to close gaps that competitors can current exploit. This plus a lower cost iPhone gets them into an entirely new market for smart phone users.

Thank you for your compliments. In case you didn't know, Twitterrific 2.0 can do groups and inline pics for yfrog right now. For Group, you enter a group of people's user names in search, and then "save the search". Each time you click on that search, you will get the tweets from that group of people. We will be posting tips and tricks video to our tweetorials section next week or so.
